Our Story
Born from the field, not a boardroom — RadonSketch was created to solve the real struggles of radon professionals. Tired of generic apps, paper sketches, and missed compliance details, our founder Chad Smith asked a simple question:“Why isn’t there software built for radon mitigation?”
Problem
Radon professionals face increasing complexity: evolving ANSI/AARST standards, strict documentation requirements, and the burden of producing professional diagrams and reports—all while managing daily fieldwork. Most rely on generic drawing apps, clunky paperwork, or ad-hoc solutions that weren't built for the job.
The Inspiration
After years in the industry as a radon tester, inspector, and certified professional inspector, founder Chad Smith saw the gap firsthand. Frustrated with manual drawings, inconsistent documentation, and missed compliance details, he asked the simple question:
